The black background represents the unknown. The rosette is indicative of an abstract prize of Lost River – its counterbalance fairy-tale between good and evil, the outer loop associates to the cycle of a family caught within the vanishing city.
The top ribbons represent love, strength and demise. The lower ribbons show - demolish, hope and light. The centre of the rosette signifies the edge of darkness, fear and desire.
The shape was chosen to slice into the darkness igniting empathy the need of victory. The linear of the film looks so beautiful and retains its artistry with these graphic elements.
The medium chosen is to reflect the study and hard work of a film debut.
